It is now official that the Ponniyin Selvan 2 music and trailer launch event is set to happen on March 29 evening. The big ticket event is scheduled to take place in Nehru Indoor Stadium, Chennai. The entire star cast along with director Mani Ratnam and his team will be there while AR Rahman and his crew will perform the songs live.

It is worth mentioning that Superstar Rajinikanth & Ulagayanayagan Kamal Haasan were the chief guests of the Ponniyin Selvan audio launch last year. The makers are said to have invited top celebrities including Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Iyakkunar Imayam Bharathiraja, Thalapathy Vijay and others. The fans are excited to witness who are all going to grace the ceremony.

Now, Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies have announced that Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan will be one of the guests at the PS-2 music & trailer launch function. They wrote, "A momentous occasion calls for a momentous guest! Join us in welcoming the one and only #UlagaNayagan

As per the reports, the cast and crew will start the promotional tour for PS-2 through important Indian cities a few days post the audio launch event. Ponniyin Selvan 2's ensemble cast comprises Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Prakash Raj, Prabhu, Ashwin, Mohan Ram, Sarathkumar, Parthiban, Sobhita Dhulipala, Vikram Prabhu and others.
