Director Mani Ratnam's much-anticipated romance flick 'Cheliyaa' ('Kaatru Veliyidai' in Tamil) will be hitting the screens this Friday (April 7). This is Mani's first film with his erstwhile Assistant director turned actor Karthi and the film releases in the 25th year of the undeterred collaboration of Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman.

While there have been various rumours doing the rounds about his next ace filmmaker spoke about what is doing next after 'Kaatru Veliyidai', in his excluisve Red Carpet Interview to IndiaGlitz.

"I am working on a script. Hopefully I will start the film later this year. The film will release for next summer if things fall in place."

So after the super hit 'OK Bangaram' ('O Kadhal Kanmani') in Summer 2015 and 'Kaatru Veliyidai' in Summer 2017, we can expect the next Mani film in Summer 2018.
