Mani Ratnam after delivering one of 2018's biggest hits, 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam' is said to be quickly on to his next an adaptation of Kalki's 'Ponniyin Selvan'.  The multistarrer reportedly has Vikram, Simbu and Jayam Ravi playing the male leads with A.R. Rahman scoring the music.

Lates reports are emerging that Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachan and his daughter in law Aishwarya Rai Bachan have been roped in for the Mani Ratnam multistarrer.  If this news turns out to be true then this will be Amitabh's first film with the ace director while it will be the third for Aishwarya after her debut 'Iruvar' and 'Ravanan'.  Sources inform that the official announcement of this mega project will come as early as Pongal.  Lets wait and watch.
