Actor Karthi has completed shooting for his mega budget horror flick 'Kashmora'. His next film will be with veteran director Mani Ratnam under who he worked as an Assistant director in the film 'Ayutha Ezhuthu' that released in 2004.

Now we learn that the shooting of Mani Ratnam's next with Karthi and Aditi Rao Hyadari will begin in Ooty on the 8th day of July (coming Friday). This will be a romantic entertainer set in Kashmir. After completing the first schedule in Ooty, the team will move to Kashmir. The film will be shot in various places across India.

Karthi will be playing a pilot in this film and he has undergone a special crash course to fit into the role of a pilot. The film's musical score will be rendered by A.R. Rahman while Ravi Varman will be handling the cinematography.

It is worth recalling that director Mani Ratnam has last year delivered a youthful romantic super hit 'O Kadhal Kanamani' and he is starting this film fresh out of the success of that film.
