After shooting in Ooty and Chennai for his upcoming romantic entertainer 'Kaatru Veliyidai', ace director Mani Ratnam has planned to start the next schedule in Ladakh, Kashmir. Recently he was spotted scouting locations to shoot the film starring Karthi and Aditi Rao Hyadari in lead roles. .

The team has already completed more than 50% of shoot in Ooty and Chennai and has been taking break. Sources reveal that the 'O Kadhal Kanmani' director has planned to finish the predominant part of the remaining portions in Kashmir before moving to Hyderabad for the next schedule.

Stunt choreographer Shyam Kaushal has recently joined the crew of 'Kaatru Veliyidai' which is already laden with industry heavy-weights like music director A.R. Rahman, cinematographer Ravi Varman, Editor Sreekar Prasad and lyricist Vairamuthu.

Kaushal has earlier worked with Mani in 'Ravanan'.
