After winning ‘The Jeager-Le Coultre Award Glory To The Filmmaker Award’ at the 67th Venice International Film Festival recently, director Mani Ratnam and his squad are now in South Korea for the screenings his films Raavan (Hindi) and Raavanan (Tamil) at the 15th Pusan International Film Festival in South Korea.

Like it was in Venice, both the versions – ‘Raavan’ (Hindi) and ‘Raavanan’ (Tamil) are being screened under the International films category.

The 15th Pusan International Film Festival is being held from 7 to 15 October 2010. The screenings of Mani’s films will be today the 8th of October. Mani Ratnam, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Shardha Trilok, Vikram, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan are now in Pusan attending the festival.

Pusan International Film is one of the most significant film festivals in Asia. It has broken the mold between documentaries and animations, commercial and independent films, digital and analog films. Another main draw of the Pusan festival is that it attracts young crowd in large numbers.
