Mani Ratnam, Chiyaan Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan reuniting for the fifth time?

The magical combo of Mani Ratnam, Chiyaan Vikram and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan have enthralled audiences in four films so far namely ‘Raavanan’, ‘Raavan’, ‘Ponniyin Selvan 1’ and ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’.  Fans who love the chemistry between Vikram and Ash complain on social media that in none of the films they live happily ever after and end up either dying or being separated from each other.

Now the hot news doing the rounds in Kollywood is that Mani Ratnam is planning to make a mature romantic film starring Chiyaan Vikram and Aishwarya Rai and has already finalized the script.  Sources say that this will be the ace filmmaker’s next project after ‘KH 234’ starring Kamal Haasan which goes on floors in September this year and wrap up by mid 2024.

Chiyaan Vikram is currently resting at home after suffering a broken rib while rehearsing for an action scene for Pa. Ranjith’s ‘Thangalaan’.  He will resume work in the first week of June and the film will be wrapped by that month end.
