Is this the release date of ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ first single? – Hot update

‘Ponniyin Selvan’ is one of the most ambitious in the Tamil cinema history. Legendary director Mani Ratnam delivered the first part of the magnum opus franchise, which went on to be the pride of Kollywood. Meanwhile, the makers announced that Ponniyin Selvan 2 will hit the screens worldwide on April 28, 2023.

Now, the latest buzz is that the promotions of PS2 are set to kickstart this month. Reports suggest that the first single from Ponniyin Selvan 2 album is most likely to be released on February 14, Valentine’s day. According to sources, the song will be a romantic number between the Chola prince Arulmozhi Varman (played by Jayam Ravi) and his lover Vaanathi (played by Shobita Dhulipala). This track is sung by AR Rahman.

Mozart of Madras, AR Rahman composed the musical score for both parts of the magnum opus. Produced by Lyca Productions and Madras Talkies, the film has cinematography by Ravi Varman and is edited by Sreekar Prasad.
