Mani Ratnam for the very first time interacted with fans on his wife Suhasini Mani Ratnam's Instagram page yesterday. People asked questions on a Whatsapp number and he answered them on the video page. One fan put up the highly interesting query of why he has not acted in any film so far.

Mani Ratnam has replied that the only offer he got was from director Aishwarya R Dhanush and he turned it down for a reason. The ace filmmaker has jokingly said that he avoided getting in front of the camera because when he is giving direction to his actors they would say we saw how you have acted in that film. We are still wondering how the Mani Ratnam would perform on screen as an actor. Any chance in the future?
