Actor Mandira Bedi lost her husband Raj Kaushal on Wednesday due to cardiac arrest. Raj was a filmmaker and a producer, he died at his mumbai residence at the age of 49. In the pictures from his funeral, Mandira was seen paying her last respect and carrying the bier outside her house.
While women are not allowed to carry the bier to the crematorium, she broke the stereotype and carried her husband’s bier and payed her last rights. Though she faced backlash and trolls for the same she stood tall by expressing her love towards her husband.
Mandira Bedi is an actress, fashion designer and television presenter. She married Raj in the year 1999 and the couple was blessed with a son and went on to adopt a girl child as their daughter.
