It's known that 'Voter' marks the Tamil debut of Manchu Vishnu. The bilingual will be released as 'Kural 388' in Tamil.
What explains the title? As per the makers, the subject of the film has been loosely inspired by the 388th couplet ('kural' in Tamil) of Thiruvalluvar`s timeless Tirukkural.
Also starring Surbhi of 'Gentleman' fame, the film has Sampath Raj of 'Mirchi' fame in a key role. Nassar, Pragathi and Besan Nagar Ravi are part of the cast.
Directed by Karthik Reddy, it has been produced by John Sudheer Pudhota of Rama Reels. Coming with the caption 'Hero of the Nation', it promises to be a political drama with loads of action thrown in. The importance of elections in a democracy is highlighted.
Meanwhile, the Manchu actor has mostly completed his works on 'Achari America Yatra', also starring Brahmanandam and Pragya Jaiswal in key roles.
