Manchu Mohan Babu Roped in for 'Mahanati'

As we all know, the epic star Savitri's life-story is being made into a movie, which is being directed by Naga Ashwin and produced by Ashwini Dutt under “Vyjayanti Movie” banner, and is planned to release this winter.
The movie sings on the genre of drama and people have high expectations on the epic biopic already.
Latest news around the tinsel town reveals that Mohan Babu has been roped in to play the character of S.V.Rangarao.
Previously, it was Prakash Raj that was in talks for the role but it seems that Manchu Mohan Babu has been roped in for the epic role.
N.T.R's character could be played by N.T.R Jr. and Akkineni Nageswar Rao's character could be played by Akkineni Naga Chaitanya according to the sources.
Latest news suggest that Dalqueer could be playing the role of Tamil star's Gemini Ganesan's role in this upcoming trilingual biopic.
This biopic is named Mahanati as of now and the registration of the title is still in progress.
