Superstar Rajinikanth has several close friends right from the time he made his movie debut in the seventies. One of them is veteran Telugu superstar Mohan Babu. The wedding of Mohan Babu's son Manchu Manoj also an actor and Bhuma Mounika Reddy was held privatedly in Hyderabad. The bride is the daughter of late former minister Bhuma Nagi Reddy.

Manchu Manoj got married to Pranita Reddy in 2015 and later they divorced in 2019. Similarly, Bhuma Mounika Reddy was also married to Ganesh Reddy for a few years and got divorced.

Manoj and Bhuma Mounika are said to have been in love for the past few years and now they got married with the consent of their parents. As this is the second marriage for both of them, the ceremony was held at actress-producer Lakshmi Manchu's house in Hyderabad in a simple manner with close relatives and friends in attendence. The newly weds are reportedly planning a quiet honeymoon in the Maldives and will be flying there soon.
