Manchu Lakshmi once again goes Hollywood

Manchu Lakshmi, famous for her small-screen talk and game shows like Prematho Mee Lakshmi, Luck Unte Lakshmi, Boom Boom and Memu Saitham, is once again going to act in Hollywood.  In the past, she has done famous television series like Las Vegas, Boston Legal, Mystery ER, Desperate Housewives and a few more Hollywood movies.

She took a long break from Hollywood and recently she is portraying a major role Sita in the upcoming Hollywood movie Basmati Blues, an independent musical romantic comedy film directed by Dan Baron, which is his directorial debut.  A scientist creates genetically modified rice along with her father, and their boss sends them to India to sell it to rural farmers.  This movie is getting ready to hit the screens and is currently in post-production phase.

Manchu lakshmi recently visited America and finished her dubbing part.

AMBI Distribution has come forward to represent the international release.  The film also stars Brie Larson, Scott Bakula, Donald Sutherland, Tyne Daly, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Saahil Sehgal, Fagun Thakrar.

It's produced by Monique Caulfield and Jeffrey Soros.  Dan Baron and Jeff Dorchen have done the scripting.  Cinematography  is by Himman Dhamija.  Music is by Steven Argila.
