Manasa Varanasi Joins Sharwanand’s ‘George Krish’ as Leading Lady

Charming Star Sharwanand, who is currently enjoying the success of Nari Nari Naduma Murari and Biker, has teamed up with acclaimed director Sreenu Vaitla for the first time. Titled George Krish, the upcoming film promises to be a fun-filled family entertainer, with the makers planning its theatrical release during the festive Sankranti season.
Presented by ATV, the movie is produced by Ramabrahmam Sunkara under the AK Entertainments banner of Anil Sunkara, with Ajay Sunkara serving as co-producer. The film is slated for a grand worldwide theatrical release on January 14, 2027.
The previously released title announcement poster, featuring vibrant festive aesthetics, received a positive response from audiences. The poster also featured a silhouette of Sharwanand lifting the female lead, hinting at the romantic angle in the story.
Manasa Varanasi Joins the Cast
The makers have now officially announced that actress Manasa Varanasi will be playing the leading lady opposite Sharwanand. The actress, who recently tasted success with Couple Friendly, is set to share the screen with Sharwanand for the first time.
The title poster had already hinted that the love story would be an important element of the film, and Manasa’s character is expected to have considerable significance in the narrative.
Adding to the excitement, the makers have announced that the film’s First Booster will be unveiled tomorrow.
Strong Technical Team
George Krish features an experienced technical crew. KV Guhan is handling the cinematography, while Anup Rubens is composing the music. Avinash Kolla is the production designer and Amar Reddy Kudumula is taking care of the editing.
The writing department comprises Nandu Savarigana and Gopi Mohan, while Kishore Garikipati is serving as the executive producer.
Shoot Progress Underway in Hyderabad
The film is currently progressing with its shoot in Hyderabad. With Sharwanand and Manasa Varanasi coming together for the first time and Sreenu Vaitla returning with a family entertainer, George Krish is already generating curiosity among moviegoers.
The film is set for a January 14, 2027 Sankranti release, positioning it as one of the major Telugu releases for the festive season.
