"My imagination begins where others' ends. An anti-corruption crusader needn't always be a superman. In 'Broker', a hero was born among brokers, the usual suspects. In 'Tulasi Dalam', I am trying to create horror in a bright backdrop. In 'Manalo Okadu', it's not the journalist but a common man who questions", RP Patnaik recently told IndiaGlitz.

As the trailer of 'Manalo Okadu' comes in, it's clear the common man's fight against the media is going to be explosive: 'A common man fights against media's ego', so the trailer announces. With the film based on some real-life incidents, are we in for controversies? Only time will tell.

While Sai Kumar is playing a self-important, loud, arrogant media baron, RP plays a frustrated, explosive, wronged common man. Gollapudi is heard saying, "Persons, parties, regions have news channels of their own".

Also starring Anitha Reddy of 'Nuvvu Nenu' fame, the film has Nasser, Tanikella Bharani, Jayaprakash Reddy, Srimukhi, Raghubabu, Banjerjee, Gollapudi Maruthirao, Raja Ravindra, Duvvasi Mohan and others are part of the cast.

Producer Jaganmohan says, "This is the story of an ordinary lecturer named Krishna Murthy".

Cinematography is by SJ Siddharth. Editing is by Uddhav. Dialogues are by Tirumal Nag. RP is the music director. He has written the story and screenplay as well.
