'Manalo Okadu', starring RP Patnaik in the role of a lecturer who crusades against a media baron's designs and arrogance, will celebrate the success of its audio on Sept 19 in Tirupathi. The film has been music-directed by RP himself.

"The audio has been getting a great response. We are done with the shoot and are doing DTS mixing at present. We have developed the story based on some true incidents", RP says.

Producer Jagan Mohan says, "We all know the role of the media in the present circumstances. Our movie comes in this context. We are planning to release the movie in the last week of this month".

While Sai Kumar is playing a self-important, loud, arrogant media baron, RP plays a frustrated, explosive, wronged common man.

Also starring Anitha Reddy of 'Nuvvu Nenu' fame, the film has Nasser, Tanikella Bharani, Jayaprakash Reddy, Srimukhi, Raghubabu, Banjerjee, Gollapudi Maruthirao, Raja Ravindra, Duvvasi Mohan and others are part of the cast.

Cinematography is by SJ Siddharth. Editing is by Uddhav. Dialogues are by Tirumal Nag. RP is the music director. He has written the story and screenplay as well.
