Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was today canvassing in Moti Nagar, Delhi, when an untoward incident happened. One Suresh, a 33-year-old spare parts dealer, suddenly jumped onto the open jeep in which the CM was standing and slapped him. Kejriwal involuntarily tried to escape the blow.
It seems no complaint has been lodged against the offender but the Aam Admi Party has blamed the BJP for the attack. "Do Narendra Modi and Amit Shah want Arvind Kejriwal to be killed? In the last five years, they failed to break his resolve, they couldn't trump him in the elections. And they now want to murder him, they are cowards," AAP leader and Minister Manish Sisodia said.
AAP is in a triangular contest with BJP and Congress in Delhi's 7 Lok Sabha seats. It lost all the seats last time to the saffron party. What might happen this time? Let's see on May 23.
