A man from Oklahoma, identified as Lawrence Paul Anderson has been sentenced to life imprisonment after confessing to killing three individuals. The 44-year-old has been sentenced to life imprisonment after pleading guilty to murdering Andrea Blankenship, his uncle Leon Pye, and Pye's four-year-old granddaughter Kaeos Yates in 2021. Anderson's crimes include killing Blankenship, cutting out her heart, and cooking it with potatoes at his aunt and uncle's residence. He then attempted to serve the gruesome meal to his relatives before killing his uncle and his granddaughter.

After being released from prison on a drug charge, Lawrence committed multiple murders in a span of a month. Despite the complaints filed by the victims' families against the governor and the parole board, Lawrence's sentence was commuted from 20 years to three, leading to his release.
