The man was identified as Udhaya who works in the cemetery. He had fallen ill and was found unconscious in the cemetery at T.P. Chaithram in the Kilpauk area, reportedly. Udhaya was severely affected by the overnight rains. Inspector Rajeshwari rescued and carried him on her shoulder to place him in the auto to shift Udhaya to hospital.

The cop received appreciation for her timely act and chief minister MK Stalin personally congratulated her. Now, media sources read that Udhaya passed away in the hospital despite the timely rescue. Inspector Rajeshwari instructed the auto driver to save his life no matter what while putting him in the auto but unfortunately, Udhaya died without the effect of treatment.
