We often see many fraudulent activities happening in the country to obtain government benefits. In one such incident, a man in Chhattisgarh opened an account in the name of actress Sunny Leone and had been receiving a government scheme's beneficiary amount of Rs. 1000 every month.
According to the reports, the accused individual has been receiving this amount under the government's married women beneficiary scheme. The Chhattisgarh government provides Rs. 1000 every month to married women under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana.
A man named Virendra Joshi opened an account in the name of Sunny Leone and has been receiving the scheme's benefits for quite some time. He hails from Talur village in the Bastar region. Upon investigating the issue, the district collector ordered the officials to seize the accused individual's account and directed them to take action against him.
Meanwhile, this revelation led to a heated exchange of words between the opposition party Congress and the ruling BJP.
