Man murders wife on first night and kills himself

In a bizzare incident, a Chennai native named murdered his wife on their first night and killed himself by hanging from a tree. The incident happened on Wednesday night at Minjur and the couple has been identified at Neethivasan (24) and Sandhya (20).
The couple who were relatives got married on Wednesday in a low-key affair in the presence of very close family members. Reportedly, the relatives broke into the couple's room after hearing the loud cry of Sandhya, who found lying in a pool of blood. It is said that a crowbar was found lying near her. Neethivasan who was missing in the room was found hanging from a tree.
The reason for the murder and the suicide is yet to be found and Chennai Police are investigating the same.
