Many a times, we might have referred to weddings and food in a humourous combination, evidently in many films as well. But a similar real-life situation has claimed a life during an engagement function held at Hyderabad, all for a delay in serving chicken.

The deceased Anwar(cousin of the groom) was stabbed to death following a scuffle which broke out as chicken curry was not being served to the guests. The accused Ashwaq had gotten into an argument over the servers who refused to serve chicken. Reportedly when Anwar tried to diffuse the situation, the accused had stabbed him.

One man named Sohail has resisted severe stab injuries and has been admitted to the hospital.  It is said that about 10-15 persons attacked Anwar and Sohail with knives. Two of the attackers have been arrested by the cops and the search is on for the remaining attackers who are still at large.
