Man Breaks Spinal Cord, Dies Due to Stunt For TikTok Video

In a tragic incident, Kumar, a 23-year-old man, died after a failed stunt for a TikTok video. The man who attempted to do a somersault, sustained injuries and passed away on Sunday. Hailing from Godekere in Tumakuru district, the youngster injured himself at a school ground on June 18th. He was taken for treatment at Victoria Hospital but did not respond to the care provided.

A video of the stunt was shared on social media. This is not the first death that has been associated with the app. Recently the Goa Government’s education department had directed schools to discourage children from using the increasingly popular TikTok and PUBG. This was in consideration of the ‘safety and security’ issues posed by both. More and more incidents that come to light have been proving the danger associated with the app.
