Due to the coronavirus pandemic Sahibabad Police were managing public and enforcing lockdown and social distancing, and that was when a mother came to the police station making an accusation against her own son that he went to buy groceries and returned with his wife.

The mother was crying and complained that she had sent her son to do shop grocery but returned along with his wife and that she won't be accepting this marriage. Her son Guddu, the 26-year-old groom revealed that he married Savita before two months in Haridwar.

He further added that as the couple could not get the marriage certificate because of lack of witnesses they decided to go to Haridwar again to get the marriage certificate and this was impacted by the lockdown Savita after their marriage had stayed at a rented accommodation in Delhi, but Guddu had to bring her home as the rented accommodation was closed due to lockdown. As of now, the Sahibabad Police have requested Savita’s Delhi accommodation owner in to allow the couple stay there during lockdown period.
