On Monday, Kerala Police arrested a man named Afsal (34) for stalking and harassing popular south Indian Parvathy Thirovothu. The stalker had repeatedly visited the actress' residences in Ernakulam and Kozhikode on multiple occasions. Every time he attempts to enter Parvathy's house with food parcels, he ends up in an argument with the security officials. He is also said to have been troubling the actress through phone messages for the past few years. Following this, the actress filed a complaint at the Maradu Police station, Ernakulam. The man was booked on Monday, under section 354 D (stalking) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). More details are awaited.
On the work front, Parvathi is winning praises for her performance in director Vasanth's Sivaranjaniyum Innum Sila Pengalum that recently started streaming on SonyLIV.
