As reported earlier, Manju Warrier has recently joined the shooting of her new project written and produced by Martin Prakkat. The filming is happening in and around the city including Cottonhill school and Chenkalchoola area.

Now the latest that we hear is Mamtha Mohandas has been roped in to play an important role in the movie helmed by debutant Praveen, the former assistant of Martin. Reportedly, the actress Mamtha Mohandas will be seen as an IAS officer, a very important character in the movie. The interesting factor is that some of the events in the film are based on real-life IAS officers and incidents.

Whereas, Manju Warrier plays a character named Sujatha, a widow hailing from Chenkalchoola. Her character does odd jobs to bring up her 15-year-old daughter. This full-length family entertainer will also feature three kids in pivotal roles along with Nedumudi Venu and Joju George, who is also one of the producers of the movie. Mamtha will join the sets next month.
