Mellifluous singer Mamtha Mohandas bagged the Film Fare award for her first song in ÂRakhi and is a favorite among Telugu audience.
ÂAakalesthe annam pedatha sung by Mamtha in ÂShankar Dada Zindabad bought her singing talent to limelight. She also crooned for ÂYamadongaÂ, ÂTulasi and ÂKingÂ.
Even though, sheÂs known as an actress in Tamil very few knew that she could sing so well till now. Mamtha Mohandas voiced the remake version of ÂAkalesthe in the recent Tamil film ÂVillu starring Vijay and Nayanthara.
The song that goes like ÂDaddy Mummy Veetil Illai is the latest sensation all over Chennai and the most wanted mobile ring tone this season. Famous music director, late RavindranÂs son, Naveen Madhav crooned beside Mamtha for this song. Devi Sri Prasad has rehashed the number from Telugu that had become a chartbuster hit.
