Severe fever has reportedly made Mamta Mohandas to walk out of a couple of Malayalam projects.

The Mollywood actress, who is equally popular in Tamil and Telugu industries, agreed to act in two Malayalam films. However, non-stop fever for the past few days has stopped her to stick on to the commitment.

“As her doctors have advised Mamta to stay away from work courtesy the swine flu scare, she is taking rest at home. She is getting well now,” Mamta’s mother was quoted as saying.

It is to be noted that the cast and crew of Ajith starrer ‘Asal’ returned to India by cutting short their foreign schedule, as the swine flu scare has gripped the entire world.

According to sources, director of the film Saran, who planned to can some important scenes in exotic locales in Europe, decided to pack the baggages due to the influenza.

Same is the case of a Telugu film titled ‘Sankham’. The film's shoot, scheduled in some abroad locations has been dropped courtesy the epidemic. The movie has Trisha and Gopichand in lead roles.
