Mamta Mohandas has done what most heroines would not even dream. She refused a Hindi film to pair with Shahrukh Khan. Celebrated Farah Khan had offered her new movie titled ‘Happy New Year’ opposite SRK. But Mamta politely refused the offer.

Though the reason is not known may be she doesn’t want to play the usual heroine in a super star and get lost in the debut film. Remember what happened to Asin in London Dreams?

Anyway Mamta is busy ‘Nira Kazhcha’ and ‘Anwar’ in Malayalam.
