Mamta Mohandas seems to be going the Nayantra way. After establishing herself in Malayalam, she now ventures to Tamil. Even before her maiden film could hit theatres in Tamil Nadu, she is now finding her way in Andhra Pradesh.

Mamta, who became popular after a sensuous role in Lanka opposite Suresh Gopi, had enough offers coming her way in Malluwood. But she chose to try her luck in Tamil and accepted to do a movie opposite Vishal in Sivapathikaram. Karu Palaniappan is directing the movie.

Meanwhile, producer M S Raju, who introduced Trisha in Tollywood, is all set to cast Mamta for his next Telugu venture. Interestingly the movie feature Boys fame Siddharth.
