Rumors about Mamta leaving the tinsel town has been brought to an end finally with her signing for the lead in the next Mohanlal venture. The film titled Alibhai will have Mamta in a demanding role.
Meanwhile Mamta has also agreed to play the lead in Telugu in a film opposite Siddharth. Even when her first film in Tamil Sivappathikaram is turning up for release in a couple of months, she has also bagged the title roles in two other Tamil films.
For a few weeks before, nothing was heard more about the actress and the grape wine was that she has stopped acting to continue her studies.
