A lot has been written about the Mamta's acting talents as she shot to fame with her single glamorous role in Lanka.

But a very few know she is a trained singer who loves to sing for masses. With her not so soft, feminine voice she is trying to take the best of every forms of music.

Music is my life. I am trained in both Karnatic and Hindustani music. I currently been trained under Sudaker Devele and I have sung Bhajan's at various venues. Having said all that, I know my sound is very hoarse when it comes to dubbing. I am working hard on voice modulation and on making it more soft and filmy.

Bhajans and glamour are not an easy counterparts to be seen in a single route, but the brainy actress is trying to be the best in both.

Best of Luck, Mamta.
