Mammotty's Daddy Cool soon in Telugu

This year has had many dubbed releases from Malayalam. Rathi Nirvedam, Nithya Menen's 50% Love were the recent ones. Encouraged by the atmosphere, a 2009 film, starring Mammootty and Richa Pallod (of Nuvve Kavali) fame, is being released in Telugu. Daddy Cool, which tells the story of how a father saves his abducted son from the clutches of the villains, is directed by Aashiq Abu.

Besides the performances of the adult stars, it boasts of an impressive act by Master Dhananjay. Biju Menon and Radhika are part of the cast. Music is by Bijibal. Each of the four songs is quite different, the makers say.

Bharathi Babu is translating the dialogues and penning the lyrics. Sameer Thahir is the cinematographer. The film was widely liked in Malayalam. It makes a pleasant family watch, producer Mohanrao Amaraneni avers.

Sri Hari's new film from July 2nd week

RV Subrahmanyam, a protege of director Samudra, is debuting with a film having Sri Hari as the hero. The film would go on the floors from the second week of July. Producer Nagaraju Bhanooru said that the film will star a new pair, besides three heroines in three key roles.

Charan shooting for Zanjeer in Bangkok

Ram Charan is currently shooting in Bangkok for his Hindi debut film Zanjeer. Director Apurva Lakshia is filming scenes on him and Prakash Raj. Since he entered into wedlock recently, Cherry has shot for VV Vinayak's film and now he is shooting for Zanjeer.
