Director IV Sasi is all keen on completing his Balaram Vs Taradas to have the movie released early March.

In the movie, Mammootty re-enacts two of his popular characters of yesteryear - Balram, the fire brand police officer in Aavanazhi and Taradas, the flamboyant smuggler in Athirathram. 'Balram has by now become a deputy superintendent and perhaps more mature. Taradas is into arms dealing but is a romantic at heart,' explains the director.

Mammootty, who is on a winning spree , hopes to recreate the magic once again, this time with two characters , who the audience has already accepted.

'Among the two, I have a soft corner for Taradas as he is more romantic,' says Mammootty.

T Damodaran and S N Swami have written the script. Sanjeev Sankar wields the camera and Jazzie Gift is the music director.
