Just into his third film, director Johny Anthony has generated enough curiosity about his forthcoming movie Thuruppu Gulan. The movie stars Mammootty, who is running high with successive hits, and Tamil actress Sneha opposite him.

'There is a certain amount of curiosity generated by the title, which, in fact, reflects the nature of the hero, Kunjumon, in the film. He is being used by those close to him,' explains Johny, who had earlier directed CID Moosa and Kochi Rajavu.

Mammootty plays a good card player in the movie. Siby K Thomas and Udayakrishnan have scripted the film.

Stating that it was a dream come true experience to work with Mammootty, the director says we are sure that this movie will click for it has a enough humor and romance.
