On Thursday, Mollywood's superstar Mohanlal turned 60. While celebrities from all corners took to their social media handles to wish the actor, it was Mammootty's birthday wish that grabbed the attention on many! Mammootty came out with an emotional video wishing Lalettan.

In a three-minute-long video, he reminisced about his first day of shoot with Mohanlal and how, from then, they both have been backing each other. “Today is Lal’s birthday. We know each other for 33 years. We met for the first time on the set of ‘Padayottam’. From then, we are good friends. He addresses me like my own brother."

"When some people call me ‘Ichakka’, I am not so much pleased with it. But I found some sort of happiness when Lal calls me ‘Ichakka’. I felt like my own sibling is around me. He was there as a family member when my daughter and son got married,” said Mammootty in the video.

"In fact, when his son, Pranav, was all set to make his debut in films, he brought him home to seek my blessings. I have huge respect and admiration for him," he added. The video, which Mammootty captioned as 'To my Lal' is viral on social media.
