Mammootty's next movie to be shot mainly in the sea

Mammootty's upcoming movie Kunjali Marikkar is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated movies in Mollywood. The movie has been in the news ever since it was announced. To be made on a whopping budget of rupees 50 Crores, this Santhosh Sivan directorial will be mostly shot in the sea. 

As the movie is about the Muslim naval chief of the Zamorin of Calicut, in the 16th century, the upcoming will involve high standards of VFX too. The team is planning to rope in foreign technicians for handling the same. The news was revealed by the director himself in a recent interview to a popular newspaper. The filmming of the movie will start by April next year.
