Mega star Mammootty's distribution firm Playhouse will release the next two movies of the star ‘Pranchiyettan and The Saint’ and ‘Best Actor’. While the former is now scheduled as a Ramzan release, ‘Best Actor’ will now be pushed a couple of weeks, for a release on the 15th of October.

The shoot for ‘Best Actor’ that is progressing at Kochi will now take a break for ‘Pranchiyeetan and the Saint’ by Renjith, which is planned as a low budget quickie. The movie which feature Mammootty as Francis, a rice merchant from Trichur, will have Innocent as the Saint. Planned as a satire with lot of black humor, the shoot for the movie will start at Trichur from the first week of July.

After the last year's award winner ‘Palerymanickyam-Oru Pathira Kolapathakathinte Katha’; Renjith's script for the new movie has surprised and impressed the megastar to such an extent that he immediately conceded for the film at the earliest date. The movie will also feature a group of professionals from theatre field in other roles.
