Mammootty's 'Karnan' to have 60 crore budget

Mammootty will star as Karnan in a magnum opus written by P Sreekumar. He has been working on it for the past 18 years. The movie got stalled due to difficulty in getting producers to fund the movie. The movie reportedly has a whooping budget of 50 crores. Madhupal has agreed to direct the movie.
An official announcement regarding the movie will happen soon. Meanwhile another Karnan movie is in the offing featuring Prithviraj. The announcement has already been made and RS Vimal of 'Ennu Ninte Moideen' fame is directing the movie.
