Mammootty's gulf based movie wrapped up

Mammootty plays the lead in the movie 'Pathemari' which deals with a very sensitive subject. The story is about a gulf based Malayali. Mammootty plays an expatriate in the movie, who belongs to the first group of immigrants to the gulf from Kerala.

The shoot of the movie has been wrapped up in Dubai. Kerala, Mumbai and Dubai were the major locations. The movie is Salim Ahamed's directorial venture and the intensity of the theme is highlighted with the movie's tagline - 'The Journey of Survival'. Jewel Mary plays Mammootty's heroine in the movie.
