Mammootty's Blockbuster Hit To Get A Hindi Remake

After Kadha Parayumbol, yet another Mammootty starrer superhit movie is gearing up to be remade in Hindi. According to reports, director AK Sajan's women-centric crime thriller 'Puthiya Niyamam' that starred Mammootty and Nayanthara in the lead roles will be remade in Hindi.

It is reported that popular director Neeraj Pandey loved the film and showed keen interest in helming the remake. Neeraj Pandey is known for his critically acclaimed hits such at Toilet - Ek Prema Katha, Aiyaary, Naam Shabana, M.S Dhoni: The Untold Story, Missing, etc. To be produced by Plan C Studios, the team is planning to rope in a top Bollywood actress for the movie. An official announcement from the team is yet to come.

Puthiya Niyamam is a revenge tale of a Kathakali dancer (played by Nayanthara) who is raped by her neighbours. Mega-star Mammootty appears as her husband, a lawyer, in the movie, which won appreciations from critics and audience alike.
