Mammootty's Bilal: New addition to the cast list

Recently, actress Mamta confirmed her part in the upcoming Amal Neerad sequel 'Bilal'. As the pre-production works of the much-awaited are currently underway, the latest that we hear is director Jean Paul Lal aka Lal Jr has been roped in to play an important role. Lal Jr last appeared as the primary antagonist in the Asif Ali starrer 'Underworld'. The rest of the details regarding 'Bilal' cast list are expected to be announced officially.
Earlier, the movie's music director Gopi Sunder, who composed some classic numbers for the prequel as well, revealed that he had started working on the project by sharing a picture with Amal Neerad on his social media page. Well, it’s not known when the film will start production as the Coronavirus outbreak has delayed the production of several films.
'Big B', which is considered to be a cult classic gangster tale, starred Mammootty in the title role with veteran actress Nafisa Ali playing the female lead. The others in the star cast in supporting roles included Manoj K Jayan, Bala, Mamta Mohandas, Bala, Sumit Naval, Shereveer Vakil, Pasupathy and Vijayaraghavan.
