Megastar Mammootty was in news as he has been roped in an ambitious project in which he will play the character of late YS Rajasekhara Reddy. Recently there was a buzz that the Telugu filmmaker Mahi Raghav had held discussion with superstar Mammootty and he has given green signal for the film.

The new turning point in the scenario is that Nayanthara who is known as lady superstar in south Film industry has also been approached to play a crucial role in the project. But it is not confirmed that she will be part of it. However, as per information, she is showing interest in the project.

Mahi Raghav who is doing scripting of the movie and the biopic will be named as ‘Yathra’. Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devi Reddy will be jointly producing this movie. Nayanthara made her acting debut in the 2003 Malayalam film Manassinakkare with Jayaram. Recently she has got best Malayalam actress Film fare award in 2017, for her acting in Puthiya Niyamam.
