Mammootty debuted in showbiz in 1971 with the film ‘Anubhavangal Paalichakal’. The film completed 50 years of its release on Friday (August 6). Mammootty was a junior artist in the film. In his career span of five decades, Mammootty has acted in over 400 films in various languages. On the special day, Mammootty took to his social media handle and penned, “Completely overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from everyone. My wonderful colleagues and film fans everywhere.
