According to latest reports, Mammootty's upcoming movie Abrahaminte Santhathikal will have Kaniha in the lady lead. The gorgeous actress had earlier paired up with Mammootty in Pazhassiraja and Drona, and their onscreen chemistry was raved about by all. Later, she had also acted in Mammootty films such as Cobra and Bhavuttiyude Namathil. 
 
Abrahaminte Santhathikal, directed by debutant Shaji Patoor, will feature Mammootty in the role of a stylish cop. The script is being written by The Great Father director Haneef Adheni. Joby George is producing the film under the banner of Goodwill Entertainment, who had produced Mammootty's controversial cop story Kasaba, directed by Nithin Renji Panicker.

The shooting of Abrahaminte Santhathikal will begin today with a special pooja. The initial portions of the film will be shot in Ernakulam.
