According to the latest update, Mammootty will once again turn producer for his upcoming movie Streetlights, helmed by cinematographer turned director Shamdat. Reportedly, the Megastar was keen to produce the movie as he was very much impressed with the script. Mammootty last turned producer for the 2012-released movie Jawan Of Vellimala, directed by Anoop Kannan.

The upcoming crime thriller which revolves around a murder mystery will feature Mammootty in the role of an investigative police officer. The movie will also have Kattappanayile Rithwik Roshan fame Vishnu Unnikrishnan and Lijo Mol in pivotal roles.

Interestingly, the upcoming project will be filmed in a single schedule at the various locations of Theni, Kochi, Theni, Pollachi, Chennai, etc. The movie will start rolling on May 24 at Kochi.
