The shooting of Megastar Mammootty`s new project helmed by ad filmmaker Sharrath Sandith started rolling in Bangalore today. The yet to be titled project which is based on real-life events, will not be a usual mass entertainer. According to the team, Mammootty's character in the movie will be highly intense and performance oriented.

Though the movie marks to be Sharrath's directorial film debut, he had earlier directed Mammootty for all the South Indian bank advertisements. Mia Geroge has been roped into essay one of the two female leads in the movie. More details regarding the other cast and crew will be announced in the coming days.

Produced by NRI Anthony D'Cruz, the team is planning to have 25 days long shooting schedule in Bangalore. After completing Sharrath's project, Mammootty will begin the final schedule of Masterpiece.
