No one can predict which film Mammootty the superstar of Malluwood will do immediately in the near future as many projects are flocking around him.

As he goes on changing his project priorities, he usually switches next to the project, with the best story that he hears recently.

Now the news is that Mammootty is planning to play the lead in cameraman Amal Neerad's first venture as director.

A not yet titled film which tells the story of two cities. Mammootty will play the role of a stylish don who returns to his home city as a powerful macho after graduating on his killer instincts from Mumbai.

Amal Neerad, best known for his works in Ram Gopal Varma's James, Darna Zaroori Hai, Shiva and the Malayalam Black, is a product of Calcutta film institute. This film will be modern revenge film recreating the production styles of the west.

According to the director this will be the most stylish character ever played by Mammootty. Amal Neerad is planning to create the film in Digital Intermediate technology as in Krrish and Black.

The film is scheduled to start by the mid of February and will be released by the mid of May, next year. The flick will be produced by N.N.S. arts, which has recently produced another don film of Mammootty Barghava Charitham with limited success.
