The wait is over! The makers of Megastar Mammootty's fifth installment of the investigative franchise, ‘CBI 5: The Brain’, has announced that the trailer of the much-hyped project will be unveiled on April 22nd at 5 pm. The movie's lead star Mammootty too shared the happy news with his social media followers. Sharing a new poster from the investigation thriller, Mammootty penned a note that read, “ CBI 5 - The Brain’ Official Trailer Releasing On 22/04/2022 at 5 PM IST.” The post has gone viral on the internet and was soon flooded with comments from celebs and fans alike.

It was recently, the team had announced that the movie cleared the censor formalities with a U/A certificate and is slated to release on May 1, 2022. ‘CBI 5: The Brain’, which comes with the tagline ‘The Man with no boundaries’, is helmed by the director K Madhu who directed the previous installments as well. Penned by SN Swamy, the movie will mark the return of the legendary actor Jagathy Sreekumar to acting after a long gap. He will be reprising the role of inspector Vikram in the upcoming movie. Meanwhile, actor Mukesh will be also reprising the role of Chacko in the upcoming installment of the CBI series. Going by the movie's teaser, which was released last month, it looks like Sethurama Iyer and his team are investigating something really big in the upcoming installment and movie buffs are going crazy over it.
